When you’re in pain, it impacts more than just your body. It spills over to your emotions, thoughts, and interactions with other people. The widespread use of opioids shows the desperation to find a way to manage chronic pain. Mindfulness meditation is a technique that has been found to significantly reduce pain in both experimental and clinical studies. While it isn’t the case for everyone, some people have been able to significantly reduce or even eliminate their pain through ongoing, daily mindfulness practice.
